Rob has backgrounds in science, law and business and over 10 years commercial experience in aquaculture, including 7 years as CEO of ASX-listed Seafarms Group Limited (SFG), Australia’s largest prawn farming company and proponent of Project Sea Dragon (PSD). Over the last decade, Rob has initiated and led several studies into the development of large-scale aquaculture breeding and growout facilities in Northern Australia, has undertaken major consulting, financial feasibility and investment analyses into commercial aquaculture, as well as fisheries and other agribusiness ventures in Australia and overseas. Most recently Mr Bell was one the lead authors for the CRC for Northern Australia’s Aquaculture Situational Analysis, advised on the sale and purchase of a major allocation of Southern Bluefin Tuna statutory fishing rights, and led due diligence, technical and commercial assessments of several major aquaculture transactions and asset reviews. Rob also has strong experience in other blue economy sectors and domains including fisheries and marine conservation management, offshore energy (conventional & renewables), shipping & ports, coastal engineering, and tourism

Patricia has a background in business and over 10 years of project management experience in Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom. Prior to joining Blueshift, Patricia worked for Marine Produce Australia, Australia’s only sea-cage barramundi farm, as a Special Projects Manager. Patricia was involved in all aspects of the business; including operations, human resources, compliance and operational health and safety. Patricia is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) since 2014 and has a Postgraduate Diploma in International Business from Sheridan College, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Brock University, both in Canada.
