Rob has backgrounds in science, law and business and considerable commercial experience in aquaculture, including 7 years as the Managing Director of ASX‐listed Seafarms Group Limited (SFG), Australia’s largest prawn farming company and proponent of Project Sea Dragon (PSD).
At SFG, Rob initiated and led several major studies into the development of large‐scale breeding, hatchery and
multiplication centres for PSD in Northern Australia.
Over the last 3 years, Rob has undertaken several major consulting, financial feasibility and investment analyses
into commercial aquaculture and other agribusiness ventures in Australia and overseas.
Jess has a background in finance, accounting, sustainability consulting and financial and economic modelling.
Prior to joining Blueshift, Jess worked in remote Madagascar, with UK‐based marine conservation NGO Reef Doctor, on a variety of aquaculture projects, as well as artificial reef construction, coral transplantation, fisheries surveys, underwater visual surveys and mangrove rehabilitation and mapping.
From 2016 – 2018, Jess
worked at Ernst and Young (EY) as a Climate Change and Sustainability Consultant within a team of 100+ professionals providing services to all industries and sectors across the climate change, sustainability, health and safety and human rights fields.
She has a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance & Accounting) from the University of Western Australia and holds OHS Management Systems Auditor qualifications.
